The Juniper Enhanced Physical Interface Modules (EPIMs) for the Secure Services Gateway (SSG) 500 Series platforms are designed to complement the four on-board 10/100/1000 Ethernet interfaces with expanded Ethernet connectivity options. The EPIMs can be installed in the high-speed I/O slots on both the SSG 520 and SSG 550. The three available EPIMs for the Secure Services Gateway 500 Series include:
• 1 port 10/100/1000 copper Ethernet EPIM
• 1 Gigabit Ethernet Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) EPIM for fiber connectivity
• 4 port 10/100 Ethernet EPIM
